Today I'm grateful for . . . surprises. (Good surprises, just to be clear). There are few things I love better than doing something fun that's completely unexpected, like a surprise visit from a friend or a just-because gift from my bestie. When people ask what I want for Christmas or my birthday, I answer, "surprises." Because that's the truth. If they continue with follow-up questions, like, "Well, what kind of surprises?" I answer, "You know what I like." ;)
Today I'm grateful for . . . words. I'm a writer. Enough said.
Today I'm grateful for . . . laughter. With so much crap in the world, laughter is the best sound. Especially a baby's laugh. I love it when they laugh so hard they squint their eyes shut and their faces turn pink.
Today I'm grateful for . . . finishing. It felt so good to finish NaNoWriMo (even though it was a bittersweet kind of good--I'm still sad it's over) and now I've finally finished my 30 days of gratitude (a day late, but better late than never, right?).

30 Days of Gratitude--Days 27-30
I am 21-year-old author, actress, daydreamer, voracious reader, introvert, klutz, fangirl, and overuser of tape. I love the impossible (which might explain my obsessions with YA novels) but I dip into the real world . . . occasionally. I’m a big fan of dogs, Broadway musicals, and bittersweet endings. When I'm not hunched over a laptop writing a new story, you can find me onstage in whatever theatrical production I've allowed to take over my life. I am a contributor to the “Fauxpocalypse” anthology and the author of “Instructions for Flight” and “Ghost Light,” both collections of poetry. I love coming here, your posts are so cherry and inspiring. You and I have some of the same things on our lists, like writing and words. Without words there would be no stories.
I just published a book called I'm thankful for.." ( sorry shameless plug,lol) So lets see what am I thankful/grateful for... The many opportunity to share how God has impacted my life and the wonderful people hes put in it.

@Debi Thanks for stopping by! :D I'm glad you like my posts. I think words are so important. Without words, there not only wouldn't be any stories (like you said), but we couldn't even be talking about it right now. ;)
This is so true. We would just be looking at each other with heads turning this way and that trying to figure the other person out.
