"FEATURING Kate I. Foley" - an Interview from Sasha at "Midnight Book Girl"

Sasha from "Midnight Book Girl" was kind enough to review my poetry collection, Instructions For Flight, on her Bookstagram a couple months ago.

Look how gorgeous this is!
Now she's just published an interview she did with me, and if you're curious to hear more about the projects I'm working on, what fictional characters I relate to, and some of the obstacles I encountered in writing/publishing Instructions For Flight, you should definitely check it out!

What projects are you working on right now? Leave a comment!

Instructions For Flight

I have exciting news . . . I'm publishing a book of poetry!

It's an ebook called Instructions For Flight, and it's a collection of twelve poems with four different themes: "Short and Sweet," "Social Issues," "Written at Writer's Camp," and "Odes." The publication date is January 31st, 2017. I'm so excited to send it out into the world!

Here's a sneak peek at one of the poems, which is a haiku in the "Short and Sweet" section.

The Simplest Thing

So much we can say,
But with such few syllables,
I leave you with love.

Instructions For Flight is available for pre-order HERE.

You can also add it on Goodreads HERE.

And here's the cover! I'm really pleased with how it turned out, considering I designed it myself.

The fear of public speaking, civil rights, and people who smile at strangers are just a few of the topics tackled in this book. With four sections of diverse poems, Instructions For Flight is Kate I. Foley’s debut poetry collection.
