This play was okay. It was a little clunky and took a long time to get into since the entire first section is a tedious setup that doesn't even come into play for the rest of the story as the perspective switches and never goes back. I really enjoyed the second part, though, which was the exciting meat of the story. And then the end suddenly switches into a retelling of the King Solomon story, which came out of nowhere. I felt like there were a couple different stories trying to be told at once and they didn't connect very well.

I just read The Lesson, not the other two plays listed on the cover, but I couldn't find a better picture for it. It was actually really creepy and intense. I had an uneasy feeling the entire time I was reading it and I somewhat guessed what was going to happen, but it also went in a different direction than I expected. The middle lagged a little bit when I didn't understand what they were saying, but I think that may have been the point. Overall, though, it kept my attention and I enjoyed it.

Wow I really liked this! Cristin Terrill is a fantastic author and no one can tell me otherwise. It makes me so sad that more people aren't aware of her books. This book totally kept me on my toes. I had different theories about what was going to happen every twenty pages, and I was never right! Well, I kind of guessed part of the ending when I put the clues together, but something else happened that was a twist I never saw coming. It was excellent and gripping. It took me a little bit to get into because I was confused at first, but once you're into it, you're hooked.

I enjoyed this story way more when I watched it. It's a
long play, and all of the parts where Lear and the others are wandering in the wilderness felt endless. Even when I saw it, I didn't love that as much. But it is a really dramatic story with excellent character work. I liked studying it.

The way comedy and drama was woven together in this play was remarkable. It was light and humorous throughout while still dealing with some horrible subjects. I loved it. The only part that made it hard to read was that it took me a long time to get used to the accents since they were written out phonetically. It was a little like deciphering code. But after a while, you get used to it, and you don't even have to think about it anymore.

I enjoyed this movie even though it wasn't what I was expecting. If you're going to watch this because you're super excited to see Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers, lower your expectations a little bit, because he's only featured for about half the movie. The story is really about Mr. Rogers' relationship with a journalist who's doing a piece on him and what's going on in the journalist's life. It was sadder than I was expecting too. I'm not totally sure how I feel about all of the messages that the movie was trying to tell, but overall, it was a compelling story and the acting was really good.
