WOW. Being on The Write Practice and commenting on other writing blogs has really helped me get around! About a week and a half ago, I commented on Random Writing Rants asking if anyone had advice for me about my query letter. And, amazingly, the author of the blog (Michelle) offered to help me out! I e-mailed her my query letter and she e-mailed me back a couple of times with questions about the letter and my story. Together we came up with a totally new query letter! And she's going to post it this Friday so other people can comment with suggestions. I'm so excited!

Exciting News!
I am 21-year-old author, actress, daydreamer, voracious reader, introvert, klutz, fangirl, and overuser of tape. I love the impossible (which might explain my obsessions with YA novels) but I dip into the real world . . . occasionally. I’m a big fan of dogs, Broadway musicals, and bittersweet endings. When I'm not hunched over a laptop writing a new story, you can find me onstage in whatever theatrical production I've allowed to take over my life. I am a contributor to the “Fauxpocalypse” anthology and the author of “Instructions for Flight” and “Ghost Light,” both collections of poetry. Wow! That vlog is JUST so cool and it is VERY nice of Michelle to do that for you. I just love these mentors who truly give of themselves to help people in their craft. I'm so proud of you for going out and finding these resources and so grateful to them for helping you out!
