Happy Election Day, everyone! :D Right now my whole family, including Scout and some very loved stuffed animals (*COUGH* Menedy *COUGH*) are watching election coverage, eating food, and playing video games. It seemed pretty close at first, but now it looks like Obama is going to win.
Personally, I'm rooting for Obama. Even if my parents weren't I would. I like that he is for gay rights. And I don't think Romney is very pro-women's rights, so he wouldn't get my vote if I were eighteen. Some people really haven't paid attention to their history lessons. We're practically repeating what happened with blacks and whites except this time it's with gays.
Are you watching the election results? Have fun! :D

I am 21-year-old author, actress, daydreamer, voracious reader, introvert, klutz, fangirl, and overuser of tape. I love the impossible (which might explain my obsessions with YA novels) but I dip into the real world . . . occasionally. I’m a big fan of dogs, Broadway musicals, and bittersweet endings. When I'm not hunched over a laptop writing a new story, you can find me onstage in whatever theatrical production I've allowed to take over my life. I am a contributor to the “Fauxpocalypse” anthology and the author of “Instructions for Flight” and “Ghost Light,” both collections of poetry. I'm enjoying watching this historic election together as a family. I like this post. I'm proud of you for standing up for what's fair and right. It's something you've been able to see for yourself without us telling you what to think. Yes, it happens to coincide with what we feel as well, but I know you own your thoughts, whether you agree with us or not and I'm glad for that and support you totally in making up your own mind about things. I love you!
I am a woman that proudly voted for Romney, so I do disagree with you there, but my 8 year old said he would've voted for Obama because his best friend's name is "Brock". Hilarious!
Thanks for the comments! :D And Emily, that is so funny. XD
