This morning I logged on to Google Reader to find this message covering the screen:
Google Reader will no longer be available on July 1.
Nooooooo! I probably follow at least 50 blogs! There's no way I can check every one individually each day! I really hope someone else takes over Google Reader so I can keep using it. In the mean time, if you follow my blog by Google Reader, I suggest you start following me by e-mail, too, so you can keep up on things.

Nooooo, Google Reader!
Labels:
The Magic Violinist,
update
I am 21-year-old author, actress, daydreamer, voracious reader, introvert, klutz, fangirl, and overuser of tape. I love the impossible (which might explain my obsessions with YA novels) but I dip into the real world . . . occasionally. I’m a big fan of dogs, Broadway musicals, and bittersweet endings. When I'm not hunched over a laptop writing a new story, you can find me onstage in whatever theatrical production I've allowed to take over my life. I am a contributor to the “Fauxpocalypse” anthology and the author of “Instructions for Flight” and “Ghost Light,” both collections of poetry. You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram at @KateIFoley.

In my case, I'm trying other RSS readers. The one I'm using right now is Feedly, which automatically syncs to your Google Reader. There are other alternatives though, and you should see which one works for you.
Thanks! :D I'll have to check it out!
So, have you been secretly eavesdropping on my google plus community? Because blarg is what we've been saying on there.
Ha ha. No. ;P I forget where I got that from.
hey hey hey, I SAW YOU TYPING THIS BLOG POST!!! :D:D:D:D :P I was at your house when you did this! :P And, i dont really use google reader. Well, to tell ya the truth, i have never herd of it untill now. :O
ARGH. I know! I'm so frustrated. I'm so tired of getting excited about Google products, learning them, using them, liking them, and then dealing with Google changing their mind on maintaining it. Bleh.
That being said, THANK YOU, CZ, for the recommendation. We're already checking it out and it looks good. Ah, technology. Yet another learning curve . . . :P
And is it "Blarg" or "Blargh?" I like the second one better.
