(Note: As I'm writing this, I have "What Does the Cover Say?" to the tune of "What Does the Fox Say?" stuck in my head. So annoying.)
"I'm secretly plotting your demise and wondering if your eyes should be described as emerald-green or sea-green in my book."
"ENOUGH WITH THE FAN ALREADY."
"Be afraid. Be very afraid."
"I'm wearing a dress I never once wear in this book, because it would be impossible to put my sword through your spleen with it on."
"Oh! I, um, was not expecting company. Uh . . . this is awkward . . ."
"HUMAN LOOK FUNNY. CARDBOARD MAN EAT HUMAN."
"Hey, is anybody going to paint on my other eye? Hello?"
"Yeah, you. I'm looking at YOU."
XD "TURN THE FAN OFF ALREADY" I love reading these book cover "re-writes" so much! Yours are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the girl on the cover of "The Revised Life of Ellie Sweet" looks mildly psychopathic. It's the eyes.
I wonder if that's how writers are commonly viewed...
@Skylar Finn Thanks! I loved yours, too!
ReplyDeleteYes! The peering over her glasses with the crazy eyes? Definitely a psychopath. Or a writer. Take your pick.
Haha! I liked the Panic one! Thanks for joining in. ;) And YES, I purposely attempted to get "What Does the Fox Say" stuck in everyone's heads, so they wouldn't stop thinking about this annoying linkup. XD
ReplyDelete@Cait You are truly evil. XD *Bows down to your evilness*
ReplyDeleteHahaha. I love your one for Panic!
ReplyDelete@Mime Thanks! :) That seems to be a favorite!
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at the one for Teardrop! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd great, now you've got me thinking of What Does The Fox Say. Rrrgh. xD
@nevillegirl Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteMwa ha ha! The evil continues . . .
Fortunately I've avoided the Fox video so I'm not so similarly plagued!
ReplyDeleteI like the sword-through-the-spleen comment. Do I detect some outside influence, like "Order of the Stick" perhaps?
"I'm wearing a dress I never once wear in this book, because it would be impossible to put my sword through your spleen with it on."
ReplyDeleteThat one is my favorite. Fun post!
And yes, that annoying song is in my head, too . . . UGH!
@Dr. Mark GOOD. Let's hope you can continue to avoid it! And yes, yes you do. ;)
ReplyDelete@Boquinha Thanks! :)
