Our family hosts a monthly D&D group at our house. Every time the kids come over to play we have snacks. The favorite snack seems to be fortune cookies. We often find crumbs and random fortunes around the house afterwards, but this most recent session I found an interesting fortune . . . (it was under the couch):
"You will find great fortunes in unexpected places."
I'm almost positive someone put it there on purpose. It seems exactly like the kind of thing my friends would do.
Have you ever found funny fortunes in your fortune cookie? Leave a comment! :D
Based on who was at our house I can guess who left it there. Also based on who was at our house, he could have dropped it and not realized it either.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could remember a funny fortune I've found in the past. Unfortunately, I cannot.
That is hilarious! I want to do that now. If only I had ever seen a fortune cookie with that fortune in it.
ReplyDeleteI once got a fortune cookie that said I would be a great musician sitting while sitting next to my pianist brother, and he got one saying you will write a book!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Sometimes my friends and I switch if we don't like our fortunes. ;)
ReplyDeleteDitto Daddy.
ReplyDeleteI wore a broken watch for like a year a while back. Dave gave me a fortune that said, "A broken watch is right twice a day." Hilarious, but my broken watch wasn't stuck. It kept switching times all the time. So, it didn't really apply. :P Funny, though.
Ha ha! I think you've told me about that one before. Most of the time my fortunes aren't even fortunes. ;P
ReplyDeleteSo true. They're more like advice or random statements. Maybe we should start our own fortune cookie company - I think it would be really fun to come up with what goes inside!!

ReplyDeleteOooh . . . I could totally mess with my friends. XD (A friend will tell you that you have something on your face). Then I'd say, "Hey, you have something on your face." Creepy. ;)
