My Day!

Hello everybody!

I hope you are excited to read my blog because today is journaling! I am going to write about my day today.

Today Mommy and Daddy were doing a fast where you could only drink juice. But Mommy ate dinner.

We went to get prizes from the summer reading program. We got bug collectors--jars you can collect bugs with!

Afterwards we had to go to our friend Carl's house to get a hat Maxim left there. (Long story.)

Then we went to see a movie that recently came to the movies. Wall-e! It was very good! It was about a little robot who is in charge of cleaning up earth. He also likes to collect interesting things.

Did I mention I belong to a writers group at Carl's house?

After that we washed the car! I love using the hose! (Mostly because when Maxim is not looking I like to spray him!)

Afterwards we went to violin lessons. I am almost at the end of Book 1!

I hope you are enjoying reading my blog!

Enjoy!

  2. I do love reading your blog. I'm so proud of how you're doing with writing, typing, spelling, grammar, wording, etc. I love it!

And yes, I ate dinner. I get grumpy when I don't eat. :P And I love Wall-E! So cute!

And you've worked VERY hard helping to wash the car and pull weeds and practice violin--way to go! We better do a Book 1 recital like Carl. What do you think?

    I love you!

  3. Sounds like you had a really neat day. When my brother and I washed the car we liked to spray each other just like you did to Maxim. A very nice post.

    Love,
    Papa

I love to use a hose too and spray other people BUT I do not like to be sprayed.

  5. Sounds like a lot of fun. My kids and I really liked Wall-e too. He's pretty cute, huh?

I added you to my *new* blogroll. Will you ask your mom or dad if that is ok? Also can I write your name or should I just leave it as "K".

  7. We took Isaac to see Wall-E last week and he loved it! I thought the animation was amazing. I get grumpy when I don't eat, too. I'm glad your mom had dinner. Congratulations on getting so close to finishing book 1.

  8. I agree with your mom about doing a recital for the end of book 1. Then your dad can record it and post it for the rest of us. I would LOVE to hear you play!

  9. I checked your blog on Monday morning, but I guess you hadn't written it yet.

I saw the previews for Wall-e, but I can't get excited about robots. I like cute and cuddly. Everyone I know who has seen the movie liked it, though, so I should give the little guy a chance. Another movie coming out is Kitt Kittridge. When I saw the preview for it, my first thought was "Kate will like this one."

I agree with j fo. Another video recital, please.

    Love you,
    Grandma

  10. What a fun day! We want to see that movie too. Maybe this weekend.

Do you enjoy your violin lessons? Evan wants to start. Do you think that would be a good idea? Do you like your teacher?

    Good job!

  11. Ruth,
I think it's a good idea for Evan to start! Suzuki violon can start at any age!

I do enjoy my lesson a lot!

I love my teacher! Her name is Juilia!
