Harry Potter Meme

I'll jump at any chance to do these (especially if they're Harry Potter related). I stole this from a blog I found when I accidentally clicked a link (what luck)! (See if you can find the secret text). ;)

Would you rather go to prom with Harry, Draco or Ron?
Huh. Probably Harry. How can I pass up the chance to go with Harry Potter?!

Would you rather be sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin?
Well, I think I'd be a Ravenclaw, but it would be pretty cool to be sorted into Gryffindor.

Would you rather explore the forbidden forest or the halls of Hogwarts?
Oh, definitely Hogwarts. Way more secrets and less danger.

Would you rather enroll in Potions, Charms, Divination or Defense Against The Dark Arts?
If Snape were still teaching potions, I'd say no, and divination didn't look like a lot of fun, so I guess I'd go with charms (unless Lupin were teaching DADA).

Would you rather buy an owl, cat, rat or toad?
Definitely an owl! :D What a cool way to deliver mail! (Plus I'm allergic to cats and I'm not really interested in toads).

Would you rather have in possession: the elder wand, resurrection stone, or the cloak of invisibility?
The invisibility cloak. The elder wand causes too much trouble and the resurrection stone doesn't really work. Plus, wouldn't it be great to use it while you're playing Capture the Flag?

Would you rather be tutored by Luna Lovegood or Hermione Granger?
Ha! When I first read this I thought it said, "tortured" instead of "tutored." But I'd choose Hermione to tutor me. Absolutely.

Would you rather, in the final battle, fight against Nagini (the snake) or Bellatrix?
*Shivers* Neither! Fine, I guess Nagini. If I had the sword, everything would be fine. I least I can deflect snake bites. The killing curse I can't deflect.

Would you rather fight a basilisk or a dragon?
A dragon. Hermione could teach me that charm where you hurt their eye. Plus, how am I supposed to fight something I can't look at directly in the eyes?

Would you rather be a part of the Malfoy family or Weasley family?
... Is this supposed to be a trick question? So totally the Weasleys (duh).

Would you rather have a butterbeer or pumpkin juice?
Having tried both, I'd say butterbeer. It's sooooo good and sooooo addictive. ;P

Would you rather fly on a broomstick, Hagrid's motorbike or Buckbeak?
This is a hard one . . . I'd have to say Buckbeak because he seems more . . . secure, I guess. But maybe a broomstick. I have no idea.

Would you rather have a conversation with Daniel Radcliffe or J.K. Rowling?
J.K. ROWLING FOR SURE.

I tag you all! :D Anyone who wants to do it, just jump in! :D And don't forget to check out day one of my writer's camp (see below this post)! :D

(By the way, I'm participating in the "Notebook Sisters's" critiquing party! Pop on over there and check it out)! :D

This is great. :D I would have answered the same way to some of the questions, except that I think I'd rather be tutored by Luna (she's a quirky blonde just like me, so I think we'd understand each other on some weird level). And I totally have a desire to ride on a broom. But not while playing Quidditch. Way too dangerous. :-P

I, too, would answer many of the questions in the same way as you! Are you familiar with those personality typing surveys? You end up getting categorized as something like: INFJ (I think the test is the Myers-Briggs). Wouldn't it be cool to design one of those based on questions like this from HP?!

Some additional questions:
Would you go home for Christmas break or stay at Hogwarts?

What is your favorite place in Hogsmeade?

What would your memory be when conjuring a patronus?

What would you turn the boggart into (you know, the one in the bureau)?

Oooh, great additional questions, fishes. And I agree with grace - not while playing Quidditch! :P

Would you rather go to prom with Harry, Draco or Ron?
Either Harry, because well, he's Harry, or Ron, because he'd be a lot of fun. I think I lean toward Ron.

Would you rather be sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin?
I'd be in Ravenclaw and I'm okay with that.

Would you rather explore the forbidden forest or the halls of Hogwarts?
Same as TMV: Oh, definitely Hogwarts. Way more secrets and less danger.

Would you rather enroll in Potions, Charms, Divination or Defense Against The Dark Arts?
Again, same as TMV: If Snape were still teaching potions, I'd say no, and divination didn't look like a lot of fun, so I guess I'd go with charms (unless Lupin were teaching DADA).

Would you rather buy an owl, cat, rat or toad?
An owl.

Would you rather have in possession: the elder wand, resurrection stone, or the cloak of invisibility?
Oooh, tough one, but I like TMV's answer, especially how it trails off as if she's underneath the invisibility cloak. :)

Would you rather be tutored by Luna Lovegood or Hermione Granger?
Probably Luna. I respond better to patient people.

Would you rather, in the final battle, fight against Nagini (the snake) or Bellatrix?
Neither. But if I were fighting Bellatrix alongside Ginny in the final battle, it would be great to hear Mrs. Weasley yell out my all-time favorite Harry Potter line. ;)

Would you rather fight a basilisk or a dragon?
Again, I like the TMV's answer: A dragon. Hermione could teach me that charm where you hurt their eye. Plus, how am I supposed to fight something I can't look at directly in the eyes?

Would you rather be a part of the Malfoy family or Weasley family?
Ditto TMV: ... Is this supposed to be a trick question? So totally the Weasleys (duh).

Would you rather have a butterbeer or pumpkin juice?
Ditto TMV again: Having tried both, I'd say butterbeer. It's sooooo good and sooooo addictive. ;P

Would you rather fly on a broomstick, Hagrid's motorbike or Buckbeak?
Ditto AGAIN (gee, think we're somewhat alike?): This is a hard one . . . I'd have to say Buckbeak because he seems more . . . secure, I guess. But maybe a broomstick. I have no idea.

Would you rather have a conversation with Daniel Radcliffe or J.K. Rowling?
Ditto AGAIN (it is almost pointless that I even copied and pasted when I could've just said, "What she said." :P)J.K. ROWLING FOR SURE.

Great set of questions. Too bad it took me so long to finally answer the questions!

Would you rather go to prom with Harry, Draco or Ron?
First of all, I'm offended by the sexist nature of this question. Second of all, who are my choices for female dates? Just don't say Pansy Parkinson!

Would you rather be sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin? Gryffindor all the way.

Would you rather explore the forbidden forest or the halls of Hogwarts?
Without a doubt, Hogwarts. There are way too many mysteries yet to be solved in that place.

Would you rather enroll in Potions, Charms, Divination or Defense Against The Dark Arts?
Defense Against the Dark Arts seems to be a rather useful class. Plus, the most exciting and outrageous things always happen in that class!

Would you rather buy an owl, cat, rat or toad?
Owl. Top of the food chain among this bunch, that's for sure.

Would you rather have in possession: the elder wand, resurrection stone, or the cloak of invisibility?
I can't argue with your logic, MV. I'd choose the invisibility cloak, too. And after 7 books we all know how incredibly useful it can be.

Would you rather be tutored by Luna Lovegood or Hermione Granger?
Hermione. If I'm going to go through the trouble of being tutored, I'd like to learn applicable things, not just the life cycle of the Crumple-Horned Snorkack.

Would you rather, in the final battle, fight against Nagini (the snake) or Bellatrix?
Something about Nagini scares the crap out of me. I can see what you're saying on this one, but I'd take my chances with Bellatrix. I think there could be a way to prey on her overconfidence.

Would you rather fight a basilisk or a dragon?
Petrification and then death or roasting over an open flame and then death? Neither seems like a great choice, so I'll pick the dragon, just for the wow factor.

Would you rather be a part of the Malfoy family or Weasley family?
Can I be the "black" sheep in the Malfoy family, secretly working for The Order of the Phoenix, bringing down an evil family from the inside? No? Then the Weasleys.

Would you rather have a butterbeer or pumpkin juice?
Butterbeer! Butterbeer! Butterbeer!

Would you rather fly on a broomstick, Hagrid's motorbike or Buckbeak?
A broomstick, in a Quidditch match. As long as we're assuming that this magical world exists I'll assume that there's always a fix for any danger that happens on the pitch. No one ever died playing Quidditch, right?

Would you rather have a conversation with Daniel Radcliffe or J.K. Rowling?
No disrespect to Harry Potter, but I think chatting with J.K. Rowling would be the experience of a lifetime.

Oh I love this! I found your blog from Adventures in YA publishing and I'm definitely going to do this Harry Potter Q/A!

I would choose Ron too. And I also read "tortured" instead of "tutored!" Funny. I would choose Hermione for tutoring, Luna for torturing. :)

Thanks for the comments, everyone! :D

@storytellergirlgrace Thanks! :D I don't think I'd want to play Quidditch either. ;P But if I had to choose a position to play, I think I'd want to be a Chaser. I'd have three other teammates helping me to do the same task, so it wouldn't all be on me (like it would be if I were a Seeker).

@seventytwofishes That would be AWESOME!!!!! :D I've taken multiple personality tests, and each one says that I'm most like Hermione.

Here are the answers to your questions:

I would go home. As much as I'd love Hogwarts, I'd miss my family.

Either Honeydukes or The Three Broomsticks. I love food! (Though Zonko's would be pretty cool, too, but I could just go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for that stuff). ;)

I don't know if I could pick just one happy memory for that! It'd vary all the time. :)

Either a burning house (specifically ours), my computer getting struck by lightning (half of my nightmares are about that), or a dead family member. All things that terrify me.

@Boquinha Gee, you basically just pasted my whole post into that comment! ;)

@Dr. Mark Hmm, I guess whoever made this meme wasn't counting on a lot of guys to do it. Odd. ;P I'll make up your choices for you: Ginny, Hermione, or Luna?

@Margo I'm excited to see your post! :D

@Emily Ha! XD Somehow I don't think Luna would be a very good torturer.

I'm not a Hufflepuff, but I'm glad they're around.... otherwise I'd be stuck doing those nasty boring jobs they quite like.
