30 Days of Gratitude- Day 8

Today I'm grateful for . . . Minecraft. One of my favorite computer games that my brother helped me discovered. The free version stinks, and the paid version is a bit expensive, but it is so worth it. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to get it, but my brother kept begging me to and he even offered to help pay for it, so I took up his offer and now I love it! I play almost every day. The point of the game is to take your character and adventure around a whole world, killing monsters, creating items, and building structures. You can play on survival mode (where you are able to die) or creative mode (where you have an unlimited supply of items, are invincible, and can fly), or on adventure mode (where you can't destroy or build anything and can die). You can play singleplayer or on multiplayer servers that other people set up so you can play with anybody. My favorite servers are the one my brother and I set up, a Hunger Games server where you go around and kill characters in arenas (which sounds horrible, but is really fun), and a server called Mine-RP which have super nice players and is a regular server where you build and kill monsters. If you want to check it out, click HERE to see the website.

I love hearing you guys play Minecraft. I hear the funniest things that seem to random and odd. "Oh no! It's a creeper!" and "YES! I found diamonds!" and "Look out! It's on fire and there's a creeper right behind you!!" That, and all the talk about "griefing." Suddenly, that's a verb. Funny! I'm so glad you both enjoy doing this together. :)

I'm glad you both like this, too. It's so good when you have shared interests and hobbies. You are both so very creative and have a lot of fun together.

*I* hear weird things, and I actually play Minecraft, so I can only imagine what you must think when you hear us talking. XD

It's so much fun playing with other people! :D Much better than playing alone.

I used to play this in high school with a boy that I liked. It was fun, but it was more fun hanging out with the cute boy.
